This week we caught up with Jason Farham, one of our latest composers to join the Cinephonix rostrum. Jason is based in L.A. and writes in multiple genres, including ambient, cinematic solo piano, electronic, and rock. 

Through Studio 51, Jason provides music for Harpo Productions, including “The Dr. Oz Show”. When he isn't composing, he performs his live piano show throughout the U.S. Jason's credits include music for BMW, Fox Movie Classics commercial "Office Space: The Musical", feature film “Hiding in the Open”, and music for the web series “Goon" and the film “American High School". 



 Here we talk to Jason about his inspiration, how he got in to music, and what makes him tick as a composer.

In what is hopefully good news for composers, music creators and music publishers, NMPA and YouTube finally settle their royalties dispute and YouTube are to pay royalties for music published on YouTube.
