Cinephonix represents a network of talented international composers around the world. We pride ourselves in the quality of our music and the quality of service we can offer our clients. Cinephonix offers our clients more than just the "pile it high, sell it cheap" model that a number of online music libraries have adopted. Our philosophy is to provide an exclusive library of quality music, coupled with excellent service, which will ensure our clients use us time and time again.
We know all our composers and we talk to them regularly. We give them information on what tracks are in demand and what our customers are wanting. We aim to work with the composer and promote their music. We don't think a composer should just list their tracks on a website and "hope" that it's downloaded.
So what are our terms?
As we mentioned, our aim is to only license music that can be made available exclusively to us. We recognise that allowing us exclusive use of your music has a risk to you: “What it they don't use it?” “What if it never gets downloaded?” These are quite correct concerns for a composer. Therefore our deal is structured so that if your music is not downloaded more than three times in two years, you can have the music back, leaving you free to try and exploit it on your own else where, or list it with other music libraries. Why do we do this? Well, why do we want music in our catalogue that we can't sell? And why should you loose the use of your tracks if we're not able to sell them?
How do you get paid?
Our composers share in the upfront fee we charge our customers and also in the broadcast royalties that are collected through international collection societies such as the PRS and ASCAP.

We listen to all music submitted. We'll get back to you either way and let you know what we think. However, please contact us first before you send any music.
