A prolific composer, arranger, orchestrator and conductor, Peter uses traditional film scoring and orchestration techniques combined with modern sound design, using the full colours and timbres available from the orchestra. As a performer he conducts professionally across Europe, and as a composer, writes for all forms of media: including TV, film, games and commercials.
His most recent project is working as orchestrator & conductor on the new PS4 release, Horizon, Zero Dawn with Ivor Novello winning composer Joris de Man. This year he will also be working closely with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic's new ensemble 10/10, arranging and conducting the 1960s seminal album by Roger McGough and Andy Roberts, Summer with Monika.
Writing extensively for main stream recording artists such as the great British song writer Judie Tzuke, Folk legends The Oyster Band and the internationally acclaimed Claire Martin OBE, Peter also has worked on projects with major record labels, such as, Linn, Mercury, Sony and Island. His collaboration with Claire Martin and the Montpellier Cello Quartet saw his arrangements performed at Kings Place, the Albert Hall and Union Chapel, London. Peter has penned an arrangement of David Bowie's "Man who sold the World" for Claire's album featuring a collaboration with artists such as Joe Stilgoe, Laurence Cottle, Richard Rodney Bennett, Gareth Williams and Geoff Keezer. The album is available from LINN records.
Peter writes extensively for music library.
