De Man

De Man's music combines classical flavours with electronic counterparts. He crafts his film music to support images, not to overule them. 'The movie is the story and my music should behave as a good actor'.

Starting his music career with the Dutch Rockband Urban Heroes, De Man moved towards composition for visual multimedia in 1995 and has composed for documentaries, television commercials and motion pictures.

Recent productions include 'On Our Own' a documentary shown at the IDFA festival, Spanish comedy 'Desastres' and horror picture Blood Cannibals. Currently De Man is working on sound design and music for the Maritime Museum in Amsterdam.
