Mark Scholl
Mark started as a drummer and composer in Canada performing with a wide range of musical settings from symphony orchestras, big bands, funk bands as well as television, radio and composition work. He moved to Los Angeles and shortly after started touring internationally with Pop Superstar Barry Manilow for 11 consecutive years performing over 1,100 shows world wide including dozens of major talk show appearances (Tonight Show, Today Show, A&E, Good Morning America, etc) as well as performances for US President Bill Clinton and a couple of Royal Variety peformances for Queen Elizabeth and the Royal family.
With the help of this wife, Robbin, Mark switched careers deciding to leave the road and focus full time on composition work.
For four years, Mark worked with a team of composers on the daytime drama the Guiding Light (which team won an Emmy Award).
For the past 11 years and currently, Mark is a lead composer for an international gaming company where he has written music for over 110 games to date.
Additionally, for the past 20 years now, Mark has contributed 100's of underscore cues to a wide variety of international network (NBC, ABC, CBS) and cable tv shows (Discovery, History Channel, A&E etc) both directly and indirectly through custom licensing requests.
