Young Braves

Husky, rasping vocals and flawlessly crafted electro backdrops easily disguise the fact that the members of this Shropshire based band are aged between 15 and 18 years of age.

After winning Shropshire’s Next Big Thing in 2012 run by BBC Introducing, Young Braves went on to release debut EP Cave of Swimmers earlier this year (recorded and produced by Gavin Monaghan). The record consists of four enchantingly catchy songs layered with soft synth, fast paced percussion and drenched with energy inspiring comparisons with The Maccabees.
The band, consisting of brothers Ollie (Vocals/Guitar) and Elliot Scott (Bass), Jakob Ferguson (Guitar/Synth) and Dan Byrne (Drums) are back in the studio this Autumn to record their second EP.

Already big on the local circuit they have played a number of West Midlands venues including Birmingham’s O2 Academy and Ballroom, including supporting Little Comets at The Slade Rooms in Wolverhampton, April 2013.
